DoctorDhundo.in ("DoctorDhundo," "we," "us," or "our") is an independent information platform that helps users discover and evaluate healthcare providers in India. We are not a hospital, clinic, diagnostic centre, pharmacy, or any form of registered medical provider under the Indian Medical Council Act, 1956 or any successor legislation.

All content on DoctorDhundo — including but not limited to hospital listings, TrustScores, treatment necessity guidance, second opinion information, and the "Is This Treatment Necessary?" tool — is provided for general informational purposes only. This content:

• Does NOT constitute medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment recommendations
• Does NOT replace consultation with a qualified, registered medical professional
• Does NOT account for your individual medical history, current medications, allergies, or specific health conditions
• Should NOT be used as the sole basis for any medical decision
• Should NOT be used in a medical emergency — call 112 or go to the nearest emergency room immediately

The DoctorDhundo "Second Opinion" and "Is This Treatment Necessary?" features provide general educational information about when certain treatments are typically recommended based on widely accepted medical guidelines. This information:

• Is based on general population guidelines and may NOT apply to your specific medical situation
• Is not reviewed or endorsed by any medical regulatory body in India
• Cannot account for individual variations in health conditions
• Should be used only as a starting point for a conversation with your doctor — not as a final decision

The TrustScores and ratings displayed on DoctorDhundo represent our team's independent assessment based on observable factors at the time of audit. These scores:

• Reflect conditions observed during specific audit visits and may not represent current conditions
• Are NOT guarantees of any particular treatment outcome or experience
• Are based on our proprietary methodology and do not constitute endorsement by any government body or medical authority
• May change — hospitals are re-audited periodically but conditions may change between audits

DoctorDhundo, its founders, employees, auditors, and partners are not liable for any medical outcome, injury, loss, or harm arising from:

• Visiting or receiving treatment from any hospital or doctor listed on our platform
• Acting on or not acting on any information provided by our platform
• Delays in seeking medical treatment caused by using our platform
• Any inaccuracy in our hospital listings, ratings, or informational content

DoctorDhundo operates in compliance with the Information Technology Act, 2000 and the Information Technology (Intermediary Guidelines and Digital Media Ethics Code) Rules, 2021. We are an intermediary platform and do not exercise editorial control over third-party healthcare providers listed on our platform.

• We do NOT sell your personal data to any third party — ever
• We do NOT share your name, contact, or health information with hospitals, doctors, or advertisers
• We do NOT show advertisements on DoctorDhundo
• We do NOT allow hospitals to pay to access member data
• We do NOT store credit card or debit card numbers — all payments processed by Razorpay
• We do NOT use your data to train AI systems

• To create and manage your DoctorDhundo membership account
• To send you your membership confirmation, renewal reminders, and receipts
• To personalise your doctor and hospital recommendations based on your city and health preferences
• To send your annual health checklist based on your age and health profile
• To send push notifications and WhatsApp messages you have opted into
• To detect and prevent fraud on our platform
• To improve our platform features based on aggregate (anonymised) usage data

Your data is stored on Supabase servers located in data centres that comply with international security standards. We implement the following security measures:

• All data transmitted over HTTPS (SSL/TLS encrypted)
• Passwords stored as one-way hashed values — never in plain text
• Uploaded medical documents accessible only by you and (for bill review requests) the specific DoctorDhundo team member you have requested assistance from
• Regular security audits of our systems

Under the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023, you have the following rights:

• Right to access: Request a copy of all personal data we hold about you
• Right to correction: Request correction of inaccurate personal data
• Right to erasure: Request deletion of your account and all associated data
• Right to withdraw consent: Withdraw consent for any optional data processing
• Right to grievance: Lodge a complaint about how we handle your data

To exercise any of these rights, email hello@doctordhundo.in with subject line "Data Rights Request." We will respond within 30 days.

• Active members: Data retained for the duration of membership plus 1 year after cancellation
• Payment records: Retained for 7 years as required by Indian tax law
• Uploaded medical documents: Retained until you delete them or request account deletion
• Usage logs: Anonymised and retained for 90 days, then deleted

DoctorDhundo uses only essential cookies necessary for the website to function — session management and security. We do not use advertising cookies or tracking pixels. You can disable cookies in your browser but this may affect certain features of the platform.

DoctorDhundo is not intended for use by children under the age of 18. We do not knowingly collect personal data from minors. If you believe we have inadvertently collected data from a child, please contact us immediately at hello@doctordhundo.in and we will delete it promptly.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify all registered members of material changes via email at least 14 days before they take effect. Continued use of DoctorDhundo after the effective date constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.

By accessing or using DoctorDhundo.in, registering an account, or purchasing a membership subscription, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms of Service, our Privacy Policy, and our Medical Disclaimer. If you do not agree, please do not use our platform.

These Terms constitute a legally binding agreement between you and DoctorDhundo under the Indian Contract Act, 1872 and the Information Technology Act, 2000.

DoctorDhundo is an independent information and discovery platform that:

• Helps users find and evaluate healthcare providers based on independent audits
• Provides general health information and educational content
• Facilitates connections between users and healthcare providers
• Offers membership benefits including diagnostic discounts and appointment booking facilitation

DoctorDhundo is NOT a medical provider, does not employ doctors, does not provide medical services, and is not regulated under the Indian Medical Council Act. Please read our full Medical Disclaimer above.

All payments are processed securely by Razorpay. DoctorDhundo does not store your payment card information. By purchasing a subscription, you authorise the one-time charge of the applicable subscription fee.

Subscriptions do NOT auto-renew. You will receive a renewal reminder 30 days before expiry. You must actively renew to continue your membership benefits.

We offer a 7-day full refund from the date of purchase if you are not satisfied, provided you have not redeemed your free diagnostic test benefit. After 7 days, or after redeeming the diagnostic benefit, subscriptions are non-refundable. To request a refund, email hello@doctordhundo.in within 7 days of purchase.

The discount on consultations is subject to the participating doctor/clinic's agreement and may vary. DoctorDhundo does not guarantee a specific discount amount at every listed provider. Discounts are offered at the participating provider's discretion and may be withdrawn with 30 days notice to DoctorDhundo.

Each Standard and Pro membership includes one (1) free basic diagnostic test (CBC blood test) per membership year, redeemable at designated partner diagnostic centres in your city. This benefit is non-transferable, non-encashable, and expires at the end of the membership year. Subject to availability at partner labs.

The Second Opinion tool provides general educational information only. See Medical Disclaimer Section 3 for full limitations. DoctorDhundo is not liable for any decision made based on this tool.

The bill review service provides a general assessment of whether charges appear reasonable based on market rates. It does not constitute legal or financial advice. DoctorDhundo cannot compel any hospital to revise a bill and is not liable for the outcome of any billing dispute.

DoctorDhundo independently audits healthcare providers before listing them. However:

• Listings represent conditions at the time of audit and may not reflect current conditions
• DoctorDhundo does not guarantee the quality of treatment you receive from any listed provider
• Listed providers are independent businesses — DoctorDhundo is not responsible for their actions, advice, charges, or treatment outcomes
• TrustScores are our independent assessments and do not constitute endorsement by any government or medical regulatory authority
• We reserve the right to delist any provider at any time if they fall below our standards

By using DoctorDhundo, you agree to:

• Provide accurate and truthful information when creating your account
• Use the platform only for personal, non-commercial healthcare decision support
• Not share your membership account, booking codes, or diagnostic test redemption codes with others
• Not attempt to manipulate, fake, or falsify reviews on our platform
• Not use the platform to defame, harass, or make false claims about any healthcare provider
• Not use automated tools to scrape or copy our hospital listings or data
• Always consult a qualified doctor for actual medical decisions

DoctorDhundo reserves the right to suspend or terminate your account without refund if you:

• Provide false information or create multiple accounts to abuse benefits
• Share membership benefits with non-members
• Post false, defamatory, or malicious reviews on our platform
• Attempt to abuse the second opinion or bill review service for fraudulent purposes
• Violate any of the user obligations in Section 6

You may terminate your own account at any time by emailing hello@doctordhundo.in.

All content on DoctorDhundo — including the TrustScore methodology, audit framework, hospital listings, written content, design, and branding — is the intellectual property of DoctorDhundo. You may not reproduce, copy, distribute, or use our content for commercial purposes without written permission.

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable Indian law, DoctorDhundo's total liability to you for any claim arising from use of our platform shall not exceed the subscription fee you paid for your current membership year.

DoctorDhundo is not liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages, including loss of health, loss of income, or any medical outcome arising from use of or reliance on our platform.

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of India. Any dispute arising from these Terms or your use of DoctorDhundo shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Thane District, Maharashtra, India.

Before initiating legal proceedings, both parties agree to attempt good-faith resolution by email at hello@doctordhundo.in within 30 days of the dispute arising.

We may update these Terms from time to time to reflect changes in our services or applicable law. We will notify registered members of material changes via email at least 14 days before they take effect. Your continued use of DoctorDhundo after the effective date constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
